RULES & REGULATIONS
USE OF GROUNDS
Rings:

Absolutely no smoking in or near any riding club property or buildings.

The rail should be left for those trotting or cantering. Those walking or halting should keep to the centre.

Do not block the track by riding two or more abreast or by stopping at the rail while other riders are using the ring.

Riders should always keep their horses under control.

Riders using jumps should set them up again when they knock them down.

No jumping in dressage ring.

CSA Approved riding helmets and shoes with heels are required.

Jumping alone is strongly discouraged.
Horses:

Having regard for the safety of the rider and of other people using the riding facility, riding a horse with a halter as the only means of control is not allowed.

Horses must not be allowed to run loose on the property or in the rings.

No unattended horses allowed.

Members shall be responsible for the conduct of their mounts at all times and shall accord them consideration and treatment that will be beyond criticism by either the public in general or by any other members.

The use of the grounds is restricted to members in good standing and with BC Horse Council Insurance. Any rider participating in any activity sponsored by PRRC will have access to the club grounds on the day of the show AND MUST be a member of BC Horse Council for insurance purposes.

As a general courtesy to the community, riders should not canter along the roads, or ride on the sidewalks. Riders should remove manure off driveways and walkways.
DUES

All membership fees shall be paid to the treasurer by cheque or cash and should be made payable to the Club.

Dues for the current season must accompany all applications for membership.

ALL PRRC MEMBERS MUST ALSO SHOW PROOF OF BC HORSE COUNCIL MEMBERSHIP.

Members who have not paid their membership by the date set by the executive committee will have all club privileges withdrawn.

Any infraction of the above rules or misconduct on the part of a member shall render said member liable to suspension or expulsion from the club by a majority ruling of the members of the executive committee and such a decision shall be final.
